The results of studies on the establishment of design expressions for determining the values ​​of the absorptive and reduced absorptive capacities of rooms with insolation passive heating systems (IPSO) are presented. In carrying out the studies, the IPSO room was viewed as a flat solar collector having a large air gap between the translucent coating of the housing and the radiation-absorbing panel. It was assumed that the flux density of solar radiation passing through the translucent enclosure and emerging into the heated room is isotropically distributed over the surfaces of the interior elements due to repeated internal reflection.
Based on the results of the performed studies, the calculation expressions for the definition and premises with the IOSB are proposed and a practical example for their implementation is given.
