The scientific seminar was organized at the Laboratory of High Energy Physics of the Physico-Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. The tasks of the seminar are the conduct of scientific discussions, the analysis of the current and urgent problems of high-energy physics, the physics of the atomic nucleus and elementary particles. The seminar provides recommendations for research of various problems in the field of high-energy physics, atomic nucleus and elementary particle physics. In the seminar, thesis for the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (DSc), PhD (PhD) in physics and mathematics is approbated and gives recommendations for consideration in the Scientific Council for presentation to the defense. The seminar deals in detail with issues related to multiple generation of particles and the processes of fragmentation of relativistic nuclei. Approbation of scientific articles of authors - employees of the Laboratory of High Energy Physics is regularly carried out and the seminar gives a recommendation on elimination of shortcomings of work and after taking into account comments and seminar participants a recommendation is made for its open publication. The seminar examines and analyzes the current state of scientific works of applicants for DSc and PhD degrees, the state of registration of dissertations.

The objectives of the seminar are to conduct scientific discussions, analyze the state of current and pressing problems of semiconductor materials science, semiconductor instrumentation, photovoltaics. The seminar gives recommendations for solving certain problems in the field of semiconductor physics research. In the seminar, thesis for the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (DSc), PhD (PhD) in physics and mathematics is approbated and gives recommendations for consideration in the Scientific Council for presentation to the defense. The seminar deals in detail with issues related to the technology of synthesis of semiconductor materials, the manufacture of ionizing radiation sensors, photodetectors, photovoltaic cells, solar cells, photodetectors, various instrument structures, and their physical principles of operation. Approbation of scientific articles of the Institute's authors is regularly carried out and the seminar gives a recommendation for open publications of scientifically completed works. The seminar examines and analyzes the current state of scientific work for applicants of DSc and PhD degrees, the state of scientific and technical work on fundamental and applied projects.

At the Physical and Technical Institute of the NGO "Physics-Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan there is a seminar on the direction "Using solar energy".
This seminar discusses the results of scientific research within the framework of dissertational works performed on specialties 05.05.05 - "Theoretical Foundations of Heat Engineering" and 05.05.06 - "Energy Installations on the Basis of Renewable Energy" for the purpose of further presentation of dissertations on the Specialized Councils of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ph.D. or Ph.D. (DSc).

Also, a discussion of scientists' reports on various scientific problems concerning the thermal and photoelectric conversion of solar energy, the calculation and design of various systems, the development and creation of prototypes of solar thermal and photoelectric converters, etc. is also being discussed.

In addition, the results of scientific research carried out within the framework of State fundamental, scientific, technical, innovative and youth projects are discussed.
